There is a growing trend for new housing estates to be developed in areas beyond mains gas supply. These estates will be supplied via a metered LPG scheme; this has a lot in common with the way in which we supply our individual LPG domestic customers. The storage tanks can be sited either above ground or underground, whichever best suits your needs.

Where Metered LPG schemes differ from normal bulk LPG domestic supply, is that each individual property within the estate is supplied gas via a communal tank, and each property is fitted with metres to monitor the gas used by the individual customer. The metres are then physically read and also estimated throughout the year for invoicing purposes.

The communal storage tank is automatically kept topped up by Flogas, giving the consumer continuity of supply and peace of mind. As far as the homeowner is concerned there is no difference between using our LPG scheme and being on mains gas.
