Marine gas station is another first for Flogas
The first ‘ocean-going’ LPG Marine gas station Flogas have installed. “It’s just like autogas but for boats,” said Martyn Webb, (Flogas Area Sales Manager (Bulk), South West Wales, adding, “The Monkstone Cruising & Sailing Club’ at Jersey Marina, Neath are really pleased with the installation, in fact it is the only LPG Marine gas station on the Bristol Channel attracting customers from miles around because the Marine gas is less than half the equivalent cost of filling up with diesel.
With 2 x 2200ltr LPG tanks, produced to the high specification of an Autogas/forecourt facility, it enables a fast delivery of product without sacrificing safety. The simple system provides a quiet and efficient pumping capability whilst still allowing the customer to fill through a 30 meter long hose (to reach the moored boats). Other bespoke Flogas systems are installed to ensure that the system is always quick to use from both an operator’s and customer’s point of view.
