LPG for residential park homes
Clear help with your LPG supply, bills and meter readings
LPG helps keep thousands of residential park homes warm, with energy for heating, hot water and cooking. However, the way LPG is supplied and billed can differ from one park to another. You might have your own Flogas account, receive a bill from your park owner or use cylinders that you order yourself.
We’ll help you understand how your supply works and find the right person to contact when you need support.

How is LPG supplied to a residential park home?
Most residential park homes receive LPG in one of three ways. If you’re unsure which applies to you, check your latest bill or pitch agreement, or ask your park owner or manager.
LPG gas bottles
Where there isn’t enough space for a tank, a park home may be supplied using LPG gas bottles.
You might order replacement cylinders yourself or receive them through your park.
Always check the park’s rules and how your existing cylinders are supplied before making any changes.
A tank supplying only your home
Some park homes have a tank that supplies only that property. You may have your own account with the LPG supplier and arrange deliveries directly, or the park owner may manage the supply for you.
Check who owns and manages the tank before ordering LPG or approaching another supplier.
A shared tank with an individual meter
One or more central LPG tanks supply several homes across the park. Each home has its own meter to record how much LPG it uses.
Depending on the arrangements on your park, you might receive a bill directly from the LPG supplier or pay the park owner for your usage.
Always check with your park’s operator on how your metered gas supply works
Who should I contact about my LPG?
The right contact depends on who sends your bill and manages your supply.

Can I change my LPG supplier?
This depends on how your park’s LPG supply is arranged.
If you have a tank supplying only your home or order your own gas bottles, you may be able to choose your supplier. You’ll still need to check your existing agreement, equipment ownership and the rules of your park.
If several homes share a central tank, the supplier will usually need to be changed for the metered supply as a whole. Residents may appoint a representative to discuss the available options on their behalf.
If the park owner supplies and bills you for LPG, check your pitch agreement and speak to them before arranging anything with another supplier.
Help with energy costs
If you’re finding it difficult to pay a Flogas bill, please contact us as early as you can. We’ll listen to your circumstances and talk through the support and payment options that may be available.
If your park owner bills you for LPG, speak to them about your account. You can also get free and independent support from organisations including Citizens Advice, MoneyHelper and the Leasehold Advisory Service.
Park Homes Warm Home Discount
The Park Homes Warm Home Discount may provide eligible permanent residents with help towards their electricity costs if they pay for electricity through their park owner.
This support is for electricity rather than LPG. Eligibility, application dates and payment amounts can change, so check the latest information before applying.
Frequently asked questions about residential park homes
How do I know whether Flogas supplies my park home?
Check your latest LPG bill, account paperwork or the information provided when you moved in.
Flogas may deliver LPG to the park without billing residents individually, so seeing a Flogas tank or delivery vehicle doesn’t necessarily mean you have a direct Flogas account. If you’re unsure, ask your park owner or manager.
Can Flogas help if my park is supplied by another company?
We can explain the LPG supply options that may be available. Whether you can switch will depend on the type of installation, the existing supply agreement, equipment ownership and whether the supply is shared with other residents.
Call us on 0800 574 574 for more information.
Why do I receive my LPG bill from the park owner?
On some parks, the park owner holds the supply agreement for the whole site. They purchase the LPG and then bill residents under the arrangements set out in their pitch agreements.
Questions about one of these bills should be raised with the park owner first.
How often should I submit a meter reading?
If Flogas bills you directly for a metered supply, we recommend sending us a reading every month. This helps keep your bills accurate and reduces the need for estimated readings.
If your park owner manages your meter and bill, ask them when and how readings should be provided.
Can I order LPG directly if my park owner currently supplies it?
Don’t arrange a separate supply until you’ve checked your pitch agreement, the park rules and who owns the existing tank, cylinders and other equipment.
A separate supply may not be possible where several homes share a central LPG tank.
Still unsure who you need to speak to?
Park-home LPG arrangements can vary, and we don’t expect you to have all the answers before contacting us.
Tell us where you live, how you currently receive your bill and what you need help with. We’ll make sure your enquiry reaches the right team.
