An experienced team of experts 

Our technical services team are responsible for installing and maintaining all our LPG tanks at customer premises. Once a customer places an order, it’s the technical services team that make sure the customers’ installation needs are met and all installed tanks are maintained. 

We also have a special projects team who are responsible for designing and installing large projects, offering our customers a true one-stop-shop approach, whilst also assisting in the development of emerging LPG markets. Within this team, we have two specialist areas that deal with the mechanical engineering and electrical side of our installations, so we have lots of exciting opportunities for engineers of all backgrounds. 

Our technical services team are mostly field based, working at locations across the country, installing and maintaining our customers tanks to ensure they are always cooking on gas. We also have a team of colleagues based at our bustling head office in Leicester who work in partnership with our engineers across the country.  

We have a wide variety of roles within our technical services team including planners, emergency team members, mechanical engineers, technicians, electricians and project managers. We really do have a role for everyone!

Technician

Our 50 strong team of technicians cover the length and breadth of the country, out in the field every day, installing new tanks into our customers properties and ensuring they are safely maintained throughout the year.  

They respond to calls that our emergency team at head office take, diagnosing and rectifying any faults that customers may experience.  

Like our drivers, our technicians are often the only Flogas colleague that our customers will meet, meaning excellent customer service skills are a must! Our technicians work in small teams, working independently on a day-to-day basis, with minimum supervision. Don’t worry though, support is always available, with a strong team ethic our field technicians and engineers are always there to support each other along with the team back at head office.

Mechanical Engineer

Working away on a weekly basis, our engineers work as part of a small team on all our exciting projects across the country, from LPG to LNG and even Biomethane installations, we ensure they have the skills they need to do a great job, helping to move our business forward every day.  

 In addition to installations, our engineers are responsible for the maintenance of our bulk storage facilities at our sites across the country and also respond to emergencies.   

We’re looking for engineers who are enthusiastic and committed with excellent people skills. We have lots of exciting roles within our special projects team, from engineers to electricians, we can offer you a fun supportive team, no matter what your background.

Technical Project Manager

Our project managers work within our busy special projects team, overseeing the design, costings and planning of many of our exciting projects. Working closely with the sales team to support in selling the proposals for new projects, our team of project managers work nationally, visiting our customers sites and overseeing the installations that our team of engineers complete every week.   

They manage the internal and external resources of each project to ensure it is executed in like with the agreed budgets and timeframes, they also manage the performance of their team working on each project.

Planner

Our planners based within our busy technical services team in Leicester are responsible for ensuring our technicians know where they’re going, when they’re going and have everything, they need to do a great job, every day.  

Not only do they organise the workload for our technicians ensuring we meet the demand of new installations and maintenance of our existing customers, they also support with the administration of paperwork and ordering of stock. Each of our planners is aligned to working closely with a small team of 7 technicians.
