How to choose a gas regulator
Choosing the right gas regulator for your propane or butane gas bottle is essential to ensure safe and efficient operation. Check the appliance itself or the original paperwork for guidance. There should be a data plate outlining the required gas throughput and inlet pressure - this should help you decide accordingly.
Check the type of gas you're using. Propane regulators differ from butane regulators cylinder connections. They are not interchangeable. Propane regulators will typically be red or have red markings, while Butane regulators will be blue.
